Downsizing Specialist

Job Type: Part-time Salary: $17-20/hour

Description

If you like making a difference in the lives of seniors, then this is the position for you! We are looking for Downsizing Specialists to work with our clients throughout Connecticut. Amston Home Transition Solutions is based out of Wallingford, CT, serving all of Connecticut. We are looking for candidates immediately. This is a part-time position. The hours will vary from week to week, with no guarantee of the number of hours, but with the potential to grow to 30+ hours per week. Our ideal candidates enjoy working with and supporting older adults and their loved ones. They have strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask. This candidate is open to learning, adaptable to different personalities and situations, a team player, and comfortable with technology. Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of Team Leaders to implement customized move plans. This includes job prep activities such as preparing packing materials, documentation review, and email/calls on a needed basis.
  • Provide superior client service to clients and business partners.
  • Assist clients in determining which belongings to keep, donate, gift, sell, or discard.
  • Professionally pack all items, assist with unpacking, and get clients settled in their new homes.
  • Initiate and maintain communication with the Team Leader throughout job engagement.
  • Utilize project management tools for timely completion of the move.
  • Work alongside business partners in support of specific job requirements, such as working with movers, estate sales companies, donation centers, etc.
  • Complete online, in-office, and on-site training.
  • Participate in Team Meetings and One on One Meetings with Team Leader and Management.
  • Provide team leader and management feedback for the best possible service to clients.

Qualifications

  • Must be honest, compassionate, reliable, and dependable.
  • Reliable transportation & valid driver's license
  • Working mobile phone
  • Able to lift to 40lbs and work physically for a minimum of 4 hours daily.
  • A high school graduate or GED equivalent is required.
  • Must have references, allow for a background check and be insurable/bondable.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to work 4+ days per week (Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm). Some weekends will be required.
  • Must be willing to wear a mask in certain situations per Covid-19 restrictions and at the client's request.

Sales Regional Representative - Fairfield County CT

Job Type: Part-time, Hours vary as needed Salary: $20-25/hour + Commission

Description

Amston Home Transition Solutions is looking for a unique professional who loves working with seniors to bring more awareness to our services in Fairfield County. We are looking for someone who understands the needs of seniors dealing with change, putting their needs first, and someone who can be a resource they can rely on. Ideal candidates are excellent communicators, have some public speaking experience, and enjoy networking with other professionals. This candidate also needs to be able to create proposals, manage relationships, and be organized.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service on all calls and online inquiries
  • Recommend moving services and products based on cost, availability, and customer specifications
  • Input information into internal move software to provide accurate moving estimates and work with the office manager to schedule moves
  • Obtain customer feedback through follow-up calls, both during and after moves; calmly and professionally handle customer concerns
  • Prepare move-related paperwork and documents
  • Generating leads from networking, site visits, presentations at senior centers, etc
  • Provide feedback to the Sales Director and Management for the best possible client service.

Qualifications

  • Previous sales (inside sales/outside sales), Customer Service Representative (CSR), and/or Account Representative experience preferred
  • Must be honest, compassionate, reliable, and dependable.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and a working mobile phone
  • Able to present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors
  • Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous, and helpful)
  • Effective listening and communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
